Siblings: Navigating Rivalry and Encouraging Positive Relationships
$50, Tuesday, June 3, 6:00-7:30pm *This workshop will be live streamed. Register
In this workshop with Dana Rosenbloom, M.S. Ed., parents will consider areas for reflection and strategies to use immediately when supporting young siblings. You’ll think about children’s roles in the family, labeling, and the concept of “fair but not equal.” We’ll discuss sibling rivalry and some of the most common reasons why children fight. Parents will learn how to help siblings resolve conflict, when to intervene, and how to encourage children to express their emotions about each other. Most importantly, they’ll learn how to encourage a positive, loving relationship between their children. This workshop is appropriate for parents whose children are under 9 years old.
